中文摘要 | Block Discrete Cosine Transform (BDCT) based image compression often introduces quantization noise which exhibits blocking artifacts in the reconstructed images especially when the compression ratio is high. In this paper, we propose a new deblocking scheme for the BDCT compressed images. First, we define shift block and DCT domain bandwidth, and filter the shift blocks of the image according to the bandwidths of neighbor blocks. Then we regularize the DCT domain values using the quantization coefficients table. Finally we construct a space domain adaptive rational filter to smooth the block edges. The experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and robust in both objective and subjective measures across a variety of images and exhibits more satisfactory performance as compared to other declocking techniques. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg. |
