中文摘要	A new process was introduced to get MgO/Mg2Si particulates, which are reinforcing the Mg-Li composites, hi which SiO2 powders were added to molten Mg-Li alloys, and MgO/Mg2Si particulates were produced by the reaction of SiO2 with matrix alloys. The thermodynamics of the reaction was studied with DTA. The microstructure was identified with SEM, EP and XRD techniques.
