In the area with complete information of debris flow, the region data are complete, while that of debris flow gullies are not sure. Direct index methods and methods compbining direct indices for zoning  dangerousness of debris flow are suit in the area with compley information. Direct indices are suit in the area with compte data of region and region data and uncomplete debris flow gullies data; methods combining direct index with indirect index include combing direct index with indirect multi-indices methods and combing direct index with single indirect methods.

    These methods were used in Xiaojiang basin, resevoir area of Sanxia and Longnan where debirs flow information is complete. The results match the realities on the whole.
