Influence of Structure and Doping Concentration on SBS Fast Light in Photonic Crystal Fibers

英文摘要We derived the influence factor of time advancement by solving the SBS coupled wave equations. And we designed a series photonic crystal fibers with different structures to investigate the fast light transmission characteristics induced by SBS. By using the finite element method to simulate, we found that larger time advancement of fast light depends on bigger hole diameter, smaller pitch and fewer air layers. And we also found that lager time advancement can be achieved by larger doping concentration.
