英文摘要 | During the opening adjustment process of a pressure regulating poppet valve, the poppet vibration directly affects the pressure fluctuation amplitude and the response time of the system. The displacement of the poppet and the pressure fluctuation of the system were obtained through experiments, under different poppet and valve body structure conditions. The characteristics of poppet vibration and excitation factors of the system were studied during poppet opening process. The investigation indicates that during the adjustment process of the pressure regulating poppet valve, the vibration state of the poppet is closely related to the structure, flow rate and pressure. Besides, for poppet valve with orifice, under the same flow rate and pressure conditions, the spherical head poppet is more prone to behave as an overshoot vibrating element than the flat head poppet. It is also found that the vibration of the poppet is caused by the coupling resonance between the piping system and the model poppet valve. © 2020, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
