英文摘要Wetting of silica and 304 stainless steel by molten SnO-P2O5-ZnO (SPZ) glass was studied by sessile drop method under high vacuum. In SPZ/silica, as a non-reactive wetting system, the wetting behavior can be divided into two stages due to the volatilization of P2O5, both of them can be described by viscous spreading model and the ratio of viscosity to surface tension is the determinant for spreading. SPZ/304ss is a complicated reactive wetting system. The interfacial reactions caused the better wettability definitely. The abnormal accelerated spreading behavior was also observed, which can be attributed to the interfacial reactions. The wetting behavior can be described by a relaxed exponential function. The calculated activation energy indicated the accelerated spreading behavior may be determined by the reactions of Cr to SnO and ZnO. © 2021 Elsevier Ltd
