英文摘要Microstructure and composition evolution of MB15 magnesium alloy were researched by means of quenched technology, optical and electron microscopy analysis in order to study the non-dendritic structure of the MB15 alloy for semi-solid metal forming during semi-solid isothermal heat treatment. The results show that grains of MB15 alloy can be turned to small and spheroidal ones with slow growing speed during semi-solid isothermal heat treatment, but its spheriocity is lower than that of AZ91D alloy. With increasing temperature and holding time, Zn diffused severely and led to an increase of the fraction of Zn in grain boundaries, and Zr segregation in the grains diffused gradually. When cooling, peritectic reaction between α-Mg and Zr happened in the Zn-rich area in the grains, while eutectic reaction and eutectoid reaction happened in grain boundaries.
