Solid-Liquid Stable Equilibrium of the Quaternary System LiCl + NaCl + Li2SO4 + Na2SO4 + H2O at 288.15 K

英文摘要In this study, the isothermal saturation method was applied to obtain the data for solid-liquid equilibria in a system consisting of four solids (LiCl + NaCl + Li2SO4 + Na2SO4) and water at 288.15 K. The chemical composition of the liquid phase was experimentally determined, and the corresponding phase diagrams were constructed. The obtained diagram exhibited 6 crystallization areas, 10 univariant curves, and 5 invariant points. The 6 crystallization regions consisted of LiCl center dot 2H(2)O, Li2SO4 center dot H2O, NaCl, Na2SO4 center dot 10H(2)O, Li2SO4 center dot 3Na(2)SO(4)center dot 12H(2)O and Li2SO4 center dot Na2SO4. The solid-phase solubilities and phase equilibria were derived from the experimental data at 288.15 K using Pitzer's equations. The calculated data were compared with the experiment, and the corresponding phase diagrams for both datasets were calculated. Experimental and theoretical diagrams were in good agreement.
