英文摘要We present the analysis of many Insight/HXMT observations of high-mass X-ray binary pulsar GX 301-2 covering multiple orbital phases. The 3-60 keV spectra could be well explained with an absorbed high-energy exponential cutoff continuum model in addition to multiple gaussian components to account for the Iron line complex in 6-7 keV. During its periastron passage, we have found that the column density variations near the pulsar is of two orders of magnitude higher (~10^{24}~cm$^{2}$) compared to that of the near apastron and post-apastron phases. These large variations in column density could be associated with a pre-periastron (PP) flare as has been speculated previously. We have also found that the soft X-ray pulse profiles at the PP phase are multi-peaked with absorption like dips. The phase-averaged spectroscopy study also reveal an evidence of cyclotron line in the range 40-45 keV in the spectra showing negative variation with the hard X-ray flux in 30-60 keV. The strong orbital variation of GX 301-2 as seen from the spectral and timing studies will be discussed supporting the scenario of accretion from the dense stellar wind plus an accretion stream near the pulsar.
