中文摘要People often experience acute psychological stress in daily life. The cognitive processing of our brain (attention, cognitive control, memory, and social cognition are all affected by acute psychological stress. Acute psychological stress induces a series of neuroendocrine reactions, which could affect cognitive processing through neurotransmitters, hormones and neuropeptides. The traditional way of stress induction requires a lot of manpower and material resources, and it is difficult to maintain consistency among different participants. The purpose of this study is to create a high-altitude VR scene that is repeatable and easy to operate in a laboratory environment, and to explore the stress response induced by this scene and verify its effectiveness.The study consists of two experiments to create a repeatable stress-inducing paradigm in the laboratory environment. A high-altitude scene was constructed through virtual reality (VR) technology and simulation props. At the same time, three high-altitude tasks were designed to induce the stress response of participants. In experiment 1, participants were 44 healthy male college students. Subjective stress report and PANAS scale were used as psychological indicators. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of this paradigm in the general population was verified by real-time heart rate, salivary cortisol level and performance of working memory tasks before and after stress. Considering the particularity of this high-altitude scene, experiment 2 selected 12 male flying cadets as participants, and also verified the effectiveness of this scene in special population by analyzing the above two major physiological and psychological indicators.Results showed that two groups of participants had higher level of subjective report stress, salivary cortisol and heart rate than the baseline state, which preliminarily verified the effectiveness of the paradigm on inducing stress response. Moreover, two groups of participants had different experience in high altitude, which further validate that the paradigm has potential replication in special groups.
英文摘要我们在日常生活中经常需要面对一些突发的状况,这些状况会对个体从生理到心理都产生影响,从而使个体的注意、认知、情绪、记忆等方面发生改变,这就是急性应激反应。近年来,有越来越多的研究通过实验室内的应激范式来诱发个体应激反应,而传统的应激诱导方式需要耗费较多的人力物力,且很难在不同的参与者之间保持一致。本研究的目的在于1.创设出一个在实验室环境内可重复易操作的高空VR场景,探讨基于该场景下所诱发的应激反应,并验证其有效性。2.在特殊群体内进一步对该范式进行推广,验证应激激发的有效性的同时,探讨应激状态下个体工作记忆前后的变化。本研究由两组实验组成,创建出了一个实验室环境内可重复易操作的应激诱导范式,通过虚拟现实(virtual reality,VR)技术和仿真道具构建出一个高空场景,同时设计出三个高空任务来诱导参与者产生应激反应。实验一中参与者为44名健康的男性大学生,采用主观应激报告和积极消极情绪量表作为心理指标,同时通过实时监测心率,分析唾液皮质醇水平,来对本研究在普通群体中的有效性做出验证。同时,考虑到此高空场景具有其特殊性,所以实验二选取了12名男性飞行学员为参与者,同样通过分析如上生理和心理两大项指标来验证该场景在特殊人群中的有效性。 在高空场景的三个任务诱导下,两组参与者无论是主观报告的应激水平还是客观的唾液皮质醇和心率水平均高于基线状态,从而初步验证了该范式在诱发应激反应上的有效性,同时由于研究选用的两组参与者的高空经验差别较大,由此进一步证明了该范式在特殊人群中具有可推广性。
