英文摘要 | AIM To isolate alkaloids from lotus leaf and study their antimicrobial, hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering activities of the isolated alkaloids. METHODS Column chromatography and spectra analysis were used to separate and identify alkaloids from lotus leaf, broth microdilution method was employed to the antibacterial activity of the compounds on ten kinds of common pathogenic bacteria and fungi, while 4-nitrophenyl acetate and 4nitrophenyl-D-glucopyranoside as substrates were used to measure the inhibitory activity of pancreatic lipase and alpha- glucosidase enzyme, respectively. RESULTS Six alkaloids were isolated from lotus leaf and identified as nuciferine,2-hydroxy-l-methoxyaporphine,liriodenine,lysicamine,nornuciferine and armepavine. Bioassay showed that liriodenine had the same MIC values of 32 mug / mL against Escherichia coli,Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus while that for armepavine against Trichophyton rubrum and Microsporum gypseum were 16 mug / mL as well. Under the 300 mumol / L inhibitory level, liriodenine and 2-hydroxy-l-methoxyaporphine on alpha -glucosidase enzyme were 40. 29% 3. 06% and 27. 62% 2. 21%,respectively. CONCLUSIONS 2-hydroxy-l-methoxyaporphine has certain inhibitory activity of alpha -glucosidase enzyme. |
