英文摘要 | A heat resistant container 100, comprises: protected content 110; a transmitter system 112; a first heat absorber 116 surrounding substantially all of the protected content; a thermoelectric generation system 126 surrounding the first heat absorber 116 and electrically coupled to the transmitter system; and an impact resistant enclosure 120, part or all of which is permeable to electromagnetic spectrum in which the transmitter system transmits, the impact resistant enclosure substantially surrounding the thermoelectric generation system. A second heat absorber 122, such as a phase change material, can substantially surround the protected content, further surrounded by the first heat absorber. A thermal insulator 118, such as a ceramic, can surround the thermoelectric generation system and a power system can be used between the thermoelectric generation system and the transmitter. An additional transceiver system (215A,B; Fig 2) can be provided to transmit stored data. The heat resistant container can be used to protect a memory device, functioning as a crash survivable memory system in an aircraft. As an alternative, the container can function as a fire safe, used to protect articles such as papers. The invention reduces the weight and size of heat protection devices while still providing adequate thermal insulation. |
