英文摘要	PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of light at the time of incidence of a laser beam and the change in an initial set state by a temp. rise by providing liquid having the refractive index equal to or approximate to the refractive index of the core of an optical fiber into the space section formed between a condenser lens and an end face in a fluid state. CONSTITUTION:A groove part for an O-ring 11 for sealing the liquid is formed in a part on the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole part 7c of a holder 7. A compressed sealing state is attained when the condenser lens is inserted into the hole part after the O-ring 11 is previously set in the groove part. A liquid feed pipe 19 is connected to a nipple 18. While the liquid 20 in the liquid feed pipe 19 is circulated by a pump 21, the liquid 20 is cooled by a radiator 22. The liquid 20 which is repeatedly circulated and cooled in such a manner has the refractive index approximately equal to or approximate to the refractive index of the core 4 of the optical fiber 3 and is filled in the liquid feed pipe 19. The leakage of the light at the time of the incidence of the laser beam from the condenser lens to the end face of the optical fiber is prevented in this way and the change in the initial set state by the temp. rise is prevented as well.
