The laser beam generated in the activated semiconductor laser medium element 1 reciprocates the resonator length Leff with the mode synchronizing frequency nu, so it grows as the short pulse synchronizing with the frequency. Since the reflection element 3 has reflection frequency properties, the ingredients excluding the oscillating main vertical mode ingredients are suppressed, and as a 1 result, the levels of the oscillating main vertical mode ingredients improve.
