英文摘要 | A numerical study is performed to investigate the effect of the loading sequence and the material hardening behavior under variable amplitude loading in this paper. Crack Tip Opening Displacement (CTOD), the forward plastic zone, and the reverse plastic zone are selected as the three fatigue parameters and are computed numerically. Two types of numerical material models are considered, which are elastic-plastic perfect model and bilinear hardening model. Four typical variable amplitude loading sequences are performed in the numerical simulation. The conclusions from this study are critical for the understanding of the fatigue crack growth behavior and the further improvement of the fatigue crack growth prediction model. ? 2012 AIAA.; EI; 0 |
