英文摘要	The self-cleaning aeronautical coatings were prepared by incorporating fluoroalkyl silane functionalized titanium dioxide (TiO2) into silicone-modified polyurethane resin. The surface functionalization was confirmed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and contact angle goniometer. The amount of functionalized TiO2 was found to play an important role in hydrophobicity and mechanical properties of the coatings. An influence of the morphology of coatings on hydrophobicity and a method to improve the mechanical properties were also demonstrated. The results showed that TiO2 nanoparticles were coated with monolayer fluoroalkyl silane during the process of chemical group exchange, resulting in the improved hydrophobicity and dispersion of TiO2 nanoparticles. In addition, the increase of functionalized TiO2 content could contribute to higher surface roughness, hence enhancing the hydrophobicity. When the content of functionalized TiO2 was 24%, superhydrophobic surfaces with hierarchical micro/nano structures were prepared, exhibiting the maximum water contact angle of 151.40??. By treating the substrate with 5%~15% solution of silane coupling agent (KH-550, in ethanol), the mechanical properties of the coatings could be further improved to meet the requirements of aeronautical coatings.; EI; 0; 5; 741-748; 38
