英文摘要	Several methods for visualizing flow structures by using sectional data were compared. Therefore a new concept of sectional spin-vector defined by the vector product of Lamb vector and the normal vector of section is proposed, which is related to the Lamb surface with or exhibits the characteristic manifold of steady incompressible non-viscous flow. The comparisons of several methods considered show that the visualized structures described by the sectional spin-vectors seem to be more precise. The reason is that the sectional cross-line of the Lamb surface and the observational plane will not distort the visualized flow phenomena although the observational plane is improperly chosen.; Mechanics; CPCI-S(ISTP); 0
