Study on sustainable land use in Dianchi Watershed Yunnan Province, China

英文摘要Dianchi watershed is one of the fastest growing areas at present in southwest China. In recent years, with the rapid economic development and continuing population growth, land-use types in Dianchi Lake basin has changed tremendously. The rapid expansion of the construction land in urban and rural areas, resulting in great loss of cultivated land and extensive land use, and the sustainable development of Kunming city has been seriously affected. In order to promote the rational land use of the Dianchi watershed under the China's current land system, through the analysis on the spatial spatial-temporal expansion features of construction land and on the driving forces of the expansion of construction land and intensive land use, we suggest, the government regulation and control mechanisms should be better understood and applied under the present system. First of all, we interpreted out 6 sets year land use type data from the corresponding remote sensing image in Dianchi watershed from 1990 to 2008. And then, in order to analyze spatial-temporal features of construction land in urban and rural Dianchi watershed, in this paper, we measured expansion rate, expansion directions, centrifugal expansion characteristics and fractal expansion characteristics, and the expansion elasticity was introduced to describe the relationship between the expansion rate of construction land and the growth rate of urban population. We argued that the expansion mode of construction land has changed from concentric circles sprawling surround the central city to the dispersed expansion surround Dianchi Lake. In the last part of this research, we analyzed the different impacts of the natural condition factors, economic development factors and the planning and policy factors on the increment of construction land and area per capita of construction land in urban and rural Dianchi watershed. Based on the analysis above, we proposed the recommendation that proper investment and fiscal policies and reasonable urban planning could be implemented to improve the intensive level of construction land. ?
