英文摘要 | China's current conditions of waste problems in urban areas cannot be completely imputed to historical background, natural conditions and the large population. If we have a new concept and philosophy on rainwater management, it is still possible for us to have an ecological balance between society and natural environment. The so-called new concept and philosophy has been proposed and carried out by our ancient people for a long time in China. Just during the past decades of reform, and rapid development. They were neglected so that numerous water problems emerged. if each city was planned and designed with a view of sustainable development, to form a normal circle in urban areas. The water crisis can be lessened and the whole environment will change toward a better future. Based on the author on-site investigation during the field trips in Germany, the technologies such as over flow facilities of combined sewage system, biological treatment plant, different infiltration and retention methods of rainwater, and construction materials being used in Germany are demonstrated in this paper.
