英文摘要An efficient and simple VO(acac)(2)-catalyzed approach to the synthesis of quinazolinones has been developed. Various substituted quinazolinones have been synthesized from 2-aminobenzamides with alcohols or aldehydes in good to excellent yields with molecular oxygen as the oxidant. The process can also be scaled up. (C) 2016 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
