中文摘要Investigations of planetary atmospheres, ionospheres, rings, and magnetic fields using radio science techniques have been conducted by almost every planetary mission, and are planned for many future projects. And radio occultation observation is a primary technique of them. Changes in the frequency, phase, amplitude and polarization of spacecraft radio signal, caused by passage through the atmosphere and ionosphere of the planet, were observed in rising and descending planet occultation events. According to one inversion method, we can get the refractivity profiles of the atmosphere, density, temperature and pressure profiles of the neutral atmosphere, and the electron density profile of the ionosphere. This paper centers on the applications of the monitoring and investigation of the terrestrial planetary atmosphere by radio science technique. The structure of this paper is expanded as follows:  The significance, background and principle of radio occultation technique are introduced;  Basic information of several latest radio science experiments are introduced, including: Mars Global Surveyor; Mars Express, Venus Express, Rosetta, Cassini-Huygens, and the Chinese Mars mission YH-1;  Combined with the NASA radio tracking system, the fundamental principles and applications of radio science are discussed;  In the Chinese YH-1 Mars mission, the one-way downlink unmodulated carrier frequency signal will be utilized in the occultation experiments while the spacecraft is occulted by Martian atmosphere, in spacecraft-to-spacecraft and spacecraft-to-ground modes. Under the requirement of the YH-1 Mars mission, a ground-based planetary atmosphere occultation processing software is being developed. The physical backgrounds, mathematical models, and module specifications are given in chapter 4;  The precise orbit of YH-1 spacecraft is determined by the combination of VLBI and one-way open-loop Doppler techniques. A software open-loop Doppler tracking technique is developed to fulfill the needs of YH-1 project. The latest results are introduced in this paper, including: hardware and software realization, analog data simulation, CE-1 tracking data analysis, and some possible problems which might be encountered in the future Mars’ missions;  The ionosphere data-set of the MGS radio science experiment provided by NASA PDS is analyzed statistically. The possibility of double layers and multi-layers of Martian ionosphere is validated, and its physical mechanism is discussed in brief.
英文摘要历史上几乎所有的行星探测任务都利用了无线电技术来探测行星的大气、电离层、行星环以及磁场,而且未来的任务也将采用这一计划;其中,无线电掩星探测技术是主要的手段之一。掩星发生过程中,测量航天器发出的信号穿过行星电离层和大气被遮掩,引起的频率、相位、幅度和极化特性的变化,通过某种反演技术可以得到大气的折射率廓线,推出中性大气的密度、温度、压强廓线以及电离层的电子浓度廓线。 本论文围绕无线电掩星技术在类地行星大气监测和研究方面的应用,在以下几个方面展开讨论:  介绍行星无线电掩星探测的意义、历史和原理;  介绍近期国际上已经实施的几个无线电科学探测任务:MGS(Mars Global Survoyer)、MEX(Mars Express)、Rosetta、VEX(Venus Express)、Cassini-Huygen,以及将于2009年10月发射的中俄联合火星探测YH-1和Phobos Grunt计划的基本情况;  结合美国深空网的无线电跟踪系统,介绍了无线电科学的基本原理及应用;  在我国的YH-1火星探测计划中,当YH-1被火星大气遮掩时,将利用单程下行无调制载波开展星-地和星-星掩星观测实验,通过观测数据反演火星大气物理参数廓线。根据任务需求,上海天文台同相关合作单位正在开发地基行星掩星大气观测资料的处理软件。本文给出该任务的物理背景、数学模型和各模块说明;  YH-1探测器将主要采用VLBI和单程多普勒技术测轨。基于这一目标,开发了软件开环多普勒测量技术。本文介绍了该技术的初步研制情况、硬件和软件实现、模拟仿真和对CE-1实测跟踪数据的处理结果;  利用NASA PDS公布的MGS无线电科学掩星电离层观测数据进行了统计分析。对火星电离层的双层或多层结构及其物理机制进行简要的探讨。
