英文摘要	Two new steroidal alkaloids, paxillarines A (1) and B (2), were isolated from Pachysandra axillar is. Their structures were determined by means of spectrometric methods as 3 alpha-N-methylbenzoylamino-4 beta-acetoxy-16 beta-hydroxy-20 alpha-dimethylamino-5 alpha-pregnane and 3 alpha-N-methylbenzoylamino-4 beta-acetoxy-12 beta-hydroxy-20 alpha-dimethylamino-5 alpha-pregnane, respectively. Some of the expected characteristic H-1-NMR signals were not observed due to hindered rotation when the spectra were measured on a 400 MHz spectrometer, although all of the signals appeared clearly on a 90 MHz machine, The conformation of the ring A moiety of these alkaloids is discussed.
