英文摘要	In this work, a valid method was developed for the determination of Ag in large geological samples using dynamic reaction cell (DRC) ICP-MS after extraction from boiling aqua regia. In the extraction procedure, over 90% of the Zr and Nb which produces oxide and hydroxide interferences was removed. The residual Nb-oxide and Zr-hydroxide interferences were eliminated by DRC technology. Under the optimized O-2 flow rate (2.7 mL min(-1)), the background signal was reduced by two orders of magnitude at m/z 109 and the limit of quantitation (LOQ 10 partial derivative) for Ag-109(+) was 0.2 ng g(-1). The proposed method was applied to the direct determination of Ag in 10 different geological standard reference materials (SRMs), and the results were in good agreement with the certified values.
