英文摘要Conference Name:2nd International Conference on Opto-Electronics Engineering and Materials Research, OEMR 2013. Conference Address: Zhengzhou, Henan, China. Time:October 19, 2013 - October 20, 2013.; Computer Science and Electronic Technology; Trans tech publications inc.; National Cheng Kung University; Three-dimensional (3-D) finite element simulation models are conducted to simulate the in-service inspection of the axial stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in ferromagnetic pipeline using remote field eddy current (RFEC) probes. In this paper, a typical remote field eddy current probe which is internal to and coaxial with the pipe is firstly introduced. Then a 3-D finite element simulation model is established in ANSYS to analyze the detection of RFEC technology. Finally the RFEC signals are observed when changing the geometric parameters, and the definite influences of crack size on the amplitude and phase lag of REFC signals are evaluated. The results of the investigations are beneficial to the detection and sizing of SCC in pipelines. ? (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
