英文摘要	随着经济和科技的快速发展，人们的居住形式也发生了改变，居住区中原有的邻里守望的风气也被改变，人与人之间的关系变得淡漠，随之而来的是一连串的社会问题。 首先，通过大量的调查研究，从现有居住区中存在的居民的自主改造行为中，提取出能够促进和改善邻里关系的办法；然后选择厦门市几个居住区，试图将提取出来的一些积极的因素加以利用，对居住区进行改造，以期造成更加舒适温情的居住环境，改善现代居住区邻里关系的现状。 之所以选择居住区中居民的自主改造行为作为案例的支撑，是因为，我认为居住区应该是以人为主要，一切的设计和政策的实施都应以人的需要为主导。但是，现代社会中存在的大多数的居住区的设计，都是由设计师在图...; With the rapid development of economy and technology, People's living form has changed.
