| 英文摘要 | 本文主要研究子女间居住地的选择，中国老年人幸福感的影响因素以及照顾孙 子女对老年人认知能力的影响。 首先，虽然在过去的几十年，中国社会经历了巨大的变化，但家庭依然是老年 人的主要支柱。同时，大多数小孩都主要是由家庭成员照看。子女与父母居住地之 间的距离无论是对子女照看父母还是对父母帮助子女都有着重大影响。我们构建了 一个两阶段序贯博弈模型来分析子女间居住地的选择。我们主要的结论是相比独生 子女，多子女家庭中的子女有更大的可能性住的离父母较远，而在子女居住地的选 择上并不存在着出生顺序效应。利用2006年中国综合社会调查数据，我们证实了 理论模型的结论。 其次，我们利用...; This dissertation focuses on the residential choice of siblings, the determinants of elderly’s happiness and grandchild caring effect on the elderly’s cognition.
