| 英文摘要 | 本研究起源于社会对高等教育质量的焦虑和不信任，以及高等教育自身所感受到的压力和茫然。出于对“高等教育到底应该是怎样的”追问，本研究综合应用量化研究和质性研究两种方法范式，以达到对所研究问题的全面而深刻地认识。首先从分析社会基础入手，以个体化为视角，对经济领域、高等教育领域及社会政治生活领域进行检视，阐释社会结构的一般特征，及这种社会结构所需要的个体；然后从高等教育内部来探寻让人焦虑和不信任的根源，最后以案例的方式给高等教育的发展趋向提供一种可能，以学生为中心不只是一句口号，而是一整套实践机制。重要研究结论如下： 一、中国社会从总体化转向个体化是市场经济发展的社会基础，也是市场经济改革的必然结...; This study is originated from social anxiety and mistrust of the quality of higher education which also is pressed and lost.
