中文摘要NO/sub x/ removal from diesel engine exhaust was experimentally investigated using simulated gases with non-thermal plasma in a dielectric barrier discharge reactor. The effect of a non-thermal plasma-assisted BaO/Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ catalyst on the NO/sub x/ removal was also investigated. The experimental results show that the non-thermal plasma alone does not effectively reduce the NO/sub x/ but does oxidize NO to NO/sub 2/. The conversion efficiency of NO to NO/sub 2/ increases with increasing discharge voltage and oxygen volume. The NO/sub x/ reduction efficiency was enhanced by the presence of propylene (C/sub 3/H/sub 6/). The NO/sub x/ removal was increased by 68% at 300 degrees C by the plasma assisted of catalyst.
