中文摘要Risks exist in the municipal solid waste (MSW) landfill operation and closure. Evaluation of landfill stabilization is critical. Base on the biodegradation processes of four pilot-scale bioreactor landfills (noted as R1-R4) with a volume of 41.25 m(3), leachate, landfill gas (LFG), solid waste properties, and landfill settlement were conducted via numerical monitoring. Given the results of pilot-scale experiment, a method applied to evaluation indices of MSW landfill stabilization was established. In this method, leachate, landfill gas, and solid waste properties, were chosen as the factors for analysis. Chemical oxygen demand (COD), biological oxygen demand (BOD5), BOD5/COD, ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), percentage of CH4 in the LFG, biochemical methane potential (BMP), volatile solids (VS), and the ratio of cellulose-hemicellulose and lignin [(C vertical bar H)/L] were the evaluation parameters. Using the traditional landfill stabilization process as a reference standard, equations of landfill stabilization evaluation and the landfill evaluation index classification system were established. The method has been successfully applied to the pilot-scale experiment and operating MSW landfill. Therefore, the method is a synthetic, operable, and quantitative assessment of landfill stabilization, and can provide technical guidance for the maintenance, management, and reuse of MSW landfills aiming at the different stages of landfills.
