中文摘要Tissue oxygenation of patients need be measured and monitored to avoid complications caused by hypoxia in medical procedures. A new noninvasive technique was introduced to measure tissue oxygenation using near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). The method gives better results than measurements of pulse oxygenation. A tissue oximeter was developed using NIRS. Experiments of forearm occlusion, pediatric brain oxygenation and muscle oxygenation were made by the oximeter. The coupling between the near infrared sensor and human body was in corporated into the system, and the distances between the light source and the detectors as well as the number of detectors were optimized. The results were consistent with physiological changes. Human tissue oxygenation can be noninvasively measured real time by NIRS.
