中文摘要For original paper see Christopher et al., ibid., vol. 127, p.1260 (2005) and for comment see Shekriladze, ibid., vol.128, p.1343 (2006). In the original paper the results of experimental investigation and numerical modeling were presented of sliding vapor bubble dynamics through subcooled boiling on microwires. A conclusion was made on the nongravity character of the observed phenomena and the primary role of thermocapillary Marangoni flow. In the discussion Shekriladze showed insufficient relevancy of the model in the context of evaluation of the role of thermocapillarity. Christopher et al. reply to these comments.
