中文摘要We introduce the technique on digital model generation for 3D dental plaster models using 3D measuring techniques, by which hierarchical bounding volumes structures are constructed from triangular meshes to implement a quick selecting framework. With the framework and feature extraction algorithms, most important measurements can be performed. Finally, a diagnosis report is provided for doctors with both measurement data and normal value from standard database. The application of the system contributes to the development of diagnosis techniques.
