中文摘要A compact thrust stand is developed based on torsional pendulum and fibre optic reflective intensity modulation. Instead of flexural pivots, steel thread with a diameter of 0.1 mm is used as the torsional sensitive element to provide lower torsion rigidity. The impulse output of the tested micro thruster results in a proportionate displacement at the measuring point, which is detected by the reflective fibre optic displacement sensor. Experimental results show that the thrust stand has a very high sensitivity of 1.1V/mu Ns and an impulse measurement resolution in the order of 10(-8)Ns.
