中文摘要Gd/sub 2/Zr/sub 2/O/sub 7/ was synthesized by coprecipitation method. The ultrasonic stirring during the process was found to have good effect on uniform dispersion of the precursor powder. The best crystallization of the precursor powder was 800 degrees C. Gd/sub 2 /Zr/sub 2/O/sub 7/ exhibited much lower thermal conductivity than 7YSZ and it also possessed other desirable specifications for a TBC material: high thermal expansion coefficient, low elastic modulus, high hardness, and chemical stability at high temperature.
