中文摘要 | Prompt gamma-gamma-gamma coincidence studies of neutron-rich nuclei with A = 99-113, populated in the spontaneous fission of Cf-252, were carried out at Gammasphere. From a high statistics data set, new band structures and significant extension of previously known bands were observed in Y-99,Y-101, Nb-101,Nb-105, Tc-105,Tc-107,Tc-109, Rh-111,Rh-113. One quasi-particle plus triaxial rotor calculations were carried out. These nuclei show a smooth evolution from axial symmetry in Yb to maximum triaxiality in Rh. In Mo-106 and Ru-110, pairs of Delta I = 1 doublet bands are established to high spins. Since these nuclei exhibit evidence for triaxial shapes, their close energy differences for states of the same spins, their constant and equal moments of inertia with spin and their AI = 1 transitions all support their interpretation as chiral bands. Tilted axis cranking calculations likewise support their assignment as chiral bands but show they have a different composition than the chiral bands observed in odd-odd nuclei.; Charles Univ, Fac Math & Phys |
