机构知识库建设的本质是信息资源的利用与开发，贯穿于特色研究所发展的始终。两者相互影响，相互促进。本文试就机构知识库在特色研究所建设中的作用，进行初浅的讨论。笔者认为，机构知识库建设的本质是以机构的历年来的知识产出为源头，真实地反映了研究所建设的成果。数据共享，对于提升研究所的核心竞争力，强化品牌意识，有着积极作用。

The essences of institutional repository construction are utilization and development of information resources, which run through the development of  special research institutes.Both utilization and development influence and promote each other.In this article we try to discuss the role of institutional repository in the construction of special research institutes. We think that the essence of institutional repository construction is taking the knowledge outputs from past years as resouces to reflects the achievements of research institutes.Data sharing have positive effects on enhanceing the core competitiveness of institutes and strengthening brand awareness.
