英文摘要	The contribution due to the chiral meson exchange to the energy levels of the light baryons is studied in the constituent quark model. The effects of different dynamical ingredients are discussed and the results with and without the chiral meson exchange are compared. Our calculation accommodates all confirmed states and indicates that the chiral meson exchange is indeed necessary to resolve some outstanding problems.
