英文摘要the reduction of no with h-2 was studied with transient response experiments on a co4n/gamma-al2o3 catalyst. in 1 % no/1 % h-2/he step-response on co4n/gamma-al2o3 catalyst at 300 a degrees c, there were three main stages, viz. initial state, steady state and deactivated state. no reduction with h-2 generated n-2 and h2o as the main products and nh3 as the by-product during the steady state. deactivation of the co4n/gamma-al2o3 catalyst was due to heavy accumulation of oxygen on the surface. in order to retain a steady-state no dissociation, the formation of h2o on the catalyst surface was the most crucial step for the removal of surface oxygen, this depended on the no:h-2 ratio and the reaction temperature. the results indicated that a no:h-2 ratio of 1:5 and a reaction temperature of 600 a degrees c was determined to keep the co4n/gamma-al2o3 catalyst surface sites active for catalytic reduction of no. based on the experimental results, the mechanism of reduction of no with h-2 on co4n/gamma-al2o3 catalyst was proposed.
